Renewed mobilization for the 9th consecutive night of mobilization against the pro-Russian government of Georgia. A large crowd gathered in front of Parliament. Riot forces used tear gas and water cannons to disperse demonstrators gathered on Rustaveli Avenue. In the middle of the night a procession of several thousand people set off in a spontaneous procession through the streets of the city. Police made numerous violent and arbitrary arrests throughout the night, targeting isolated protesters most often at random.
